Tata NYK Shipping Pte Ltd is a 50:50 joint venture of Tata Steel Ltd., India’s steel major and the world’s second most geographically diversified steel producer, and NYK Line, the Japanese shipping major and one of the largest and leading shipping companies in the world.
The company, incepted in Year 2007, has a diversified, high-performance, environment friendly fleet of Japanese- built vessels.
The ability to trade world-wide in a multitude of trade routes, carrying a wide range of cargoes for a varied set of customers, gives us a competitive edge. Tata NYK offers long-term voyage and time charters to its customers through customized freight structures, which helps to gain control on the cost and manage the supply chain effectively. The organization has been accredited with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications which reinforce its commitment to and reliance on robust business processes with high quality and environmental standards.

Our strong network with ship owners enables us access to a large fleet of vessels which helps us operate all sizes of dry bulk carriers ranging from the smaller handysize and supramax vessels to the larger panama and capsize vessels. We enter into both long and short-term charter agreements with ship owners world-wide and help our clients move dry bulk cargoes and commodities worldwide.
